SPENT GRAIN BREADMAKING CLASS

Grainbakers offers one-of-a-kind, spent grain breadmaking classes—pop-up events hosted at some of the country’s best breweries. These classes are rare, hands-on experiences that often sell out quickly.

Whether you’re brand new to breadmaking or a seasoned sourdough pro looking for a fresh take, you’re welcome here. We especially love showing homebrewers what’s possible with all that beautiful grain.

At the end of the brewer’s day, we roll up our sleeves and work fresh, spent grain into a stunning whole grain boule—earthy, nourishing, and wildly satisfying.

Grainbakers classes are perfect for a solo adventure, a girls’ night out, a first date, a team builder, or just a great excuse to explore a new brewery and leave with something delicious you made yourself.

Adults-Only Fun

Since part of the class is in an industrial area
of a manufacturing brewery, and the instructor might cuss, the class is for Adults only. (18+)

This class is good for:

A Solo Outing!

Couples

A First Date

Your 10,000th date

A Girls’ Night Out

A Birthday activity for 4 - 12 People

A Corporate TEAMBUILDER!

“My friend booked a class for four of us for my friend’s birthday. It was a brewery I had never been to before. The class was informational, followed by a fun and messy demonstration time. We all left with our own ready-to-bake loaf in its first rise. It was ready to pop in the oven when I got home and made a pretty great bread for grilled cheese the next day.” - Jessika G.

RISE TOGETHER!

When you arrive at the brewery, please check in, grab a beer, and relax with friends. Class begins with a lesson, tour and then it’s time for grain, water, yeast & salt. Make artisan bread and great memories with friends.
