If the brewery taproom is your happy place, then this is the class for you. Grainbakers offers spent grain bread-making classes at your favorite brewery. Our classes are geared toward everyone from the rookie baker and the beer geek or home brewer to the bread-making enthusiast. At the end of the brewer’s day, we will use their fresh, spent grain and work it into a stunning boule of bread. Classes are in the San Francisco Bay Area and San Diego, with classes popping up around the United States in beer-centric cities.

how beer is made and sustainability in craft beer.
You'll learn what brewer's spent grain is,
Why spent grain is a superfood
and how to work it into bread.
You'll leave with your bread in its first rise
and bake it as soon as you get home.
You'll laugh. You'll meet new people and
support a small and independent brewery.
