Epidemic Ales, Breadmaking Class December

At the end of the brewer’s day, we will use their fresh spent grain and work it into your choice of something delicious to bake and eat!

Each ticketholder will make one recipe. You may choose from:

• Rosemary and Sea Salt Artisan Bread
• Pumpkin Spice Artisan Bread (REAL pumpkin)
• Holiday Fruit & Nut Artisan Bread
• Dark Chocolate & Cherry Artisan Bread

Class includes:

• A bread and butter sampling with different types of butter.
• Lecture and hands-on instruction to make artisan spent grain baked goods
• Recipe and instruction guide.
• One finished oven-ready item to bake when you get home.
• Extra spent grain for your freezer and recipes to make more bread.

VIP / FAQ:

Class is 6:00PM - 8:00PM (approximately)

The class is typically 36 guests and will typically sell out.

You will bake your bread or treats at home.

Itinerary:

5:45 Check-in, sign-up for timeslots, bread & butter sampling.

6:00 - 6:30 Class (All students participate.)

6:30 - 7:00 Mixing Group One (16 people)

7:00 - 7:30 Mixing Group Two (16 people)

7:30 - 8:00 Mixing Group Three (16 people)

You are WELCOME to invite a friend to wait for you while you’re in class. You can have dinner together before class and then they can doomscroll some social media over a pint while you’re in class.

Some of the class will be on your feet, but you will also have plenty of rest time in the taproom. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. You will need non-slip footwear in the brewery. Sandals and flip-flops are not allowed.
