Grainbakers Course Catalog & Calendar

Caitlin’s famous soft pretzel class is popping up in San Diego for one week only at Societe Brewing, Pizza Port Brewing, AleSmith, Pure Project Vista, and Burgeon Carlsbad! Twist, roll, and bake your own brewery-style pretzels in this 90-minute, hands-on class—complete with Grainbakers’ secret spent grain pretzel dough recipe, dipping mustard and gooey beer cheddar pub dip. Classes run nightly at 5:00 PM and 6:45 PM, plus daytime team-builder sessions by request.

Grainbakers offers one-of-a-kind, spent grain breadmaking classes—pop-up events hosted at some of the country’s best breweries. These rare, hands-on experiences often sell out fast and are the perfect blend of fun and sophistication.
 

Whether you’re new to breadmaking or a seasoned sourdough pro craving a fresh twist, you’re welcome here. We especially love showing homebrewers how to transform that beautiful spent grain into something extraordinary.

At the end of the brewer’s day, we roll up our sleeves and bake a stunning whole grain boule—earthy, nourishing, and wildly satisfying.

Grainbakers classes make for a fantastic date night, a classy girls’ night out, or a memorable bachelorette activity. They’re also ideal for solo adventurers, team builders, or anyone looking for a great excuse to explore a new brewery and leave with something delicious made by their own hands.
